First performance with my guitar teacher at the age of 8 in the "Grünes Eck" in Giesing / Munich. Further training autodidactically by listening to and playing songs

In the early 1970s, approximately 35,000 US soldiers (GIs) were still stationed in Munich. There were many clubs, including the Officers' Lounge, where I performed. The clubs I played in included the "Tabarin," "Cadillac," and "Carnaby." While still a minor, I played soul, funk, blues, and R&B at the Tabarin.
